The session reviewed the report on the implementation of the 2023 plan for national economic and social development in Xinjiang and the draft plan for 2024, as well as the report on the implementation of the 2023 government budget and the draft budget for 2024. The session also reviewed the Work Report of the Xinjiang Government. Seated on the rostrum as members of the Xinjiang legislative body and members of the presidium were Yang Cheng, Political Commissar of the PLA Xinjiang Military Command Liu Lin, Commander of the PLA Xinjiang Military Command; and Su Yong, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Xinjiang Armed Police Corps. Other PLA members also attended the meeting as members of the Xinjiang legislative body.
