<description>In the demo of Gregor we awake in a weird world and to meander through our morning routine we need to operate an absurd apparatus to prepare porridge. Also we need to brush our teeth, for that we need to get through the most horrific way to make a toothbrush minigame in the ego perspective and the only thing of the player character we see are his dirty teeth. Only to then find out that our roommate has turned into bug and needs medicine. Just like Gregor Samsa in Kafka's Metamorphis. But Gregor dabbled in magic and can explain his reasons very well and very relatable. Anyways, on the quirky quest to get the medicine we explore the word of Giotto City and get into even more kafkaesque situations and meet more cuddly crazy cute creatures. Oh how I wish that the caterpillar monk like Apothekary would have more healing hypnotic stuff going on with his one eye, especially in the full view, but they are all very likeable in their weirdness. I'm a bit sad I couldn't do something to the onion head person to make the onion cry this time... Considering all this, having a bug as housemate is probably not even the worst that could happen, once Gregor turns back he might be even worse off, and we don't even see the protagonist, but that might all happen in the full game... The demo has EGA like 16 colors and does a great job telling you all you need to know and also look out of this world trippy and lovely. A lot of things move on screen, that is always a good thing. I'd love to see the Apothecary move some more in his way to show how his body really works lol. The soundtrack is bouncing along in a funky manner, I like that. As far as I can tell, as the only other place the temple inside has a more spaced out music going than the other places. The puzzles are not really hard and rather straight forward, but very fun to do and very encouraging to continue playing, but that might not be for everyone, but once you managed to brush the teeth on this planet and want to explore more, that is totally your game. No more significant than any other. Within its walls live various walks; insignificant merchants, paupers searching for their fortune, sharkish property owners and quiet scholars. Our protagonist belongs to the class last mentioned; a diligent and optimistic youth who, simply wanting to help a friend in need, is caught in events central to the end of an era. Features: A point and click adventure set in the distant past of the Melon Head universe. Goofy characters and unforseeable unfolding of events. 16-color Eyesore Giving A-grade palette! Item puzzles and likely other puzzles too. A soundtrack that jams like a pomegranate! Keep Your Mind Ablaze!
