What I did: took two passes from the steady middle of the recording, matched their level slowly (within +/- 4 dB) so the bed holds one level instead of drifting, joined them with a 4-second equal-power crossfade, and blended the end back into the start so the file loops without a click or a gap. Then +6.18 dB flat gain and stop: peak -1.0 dBFS, about -24 dBFS RMS. No compressor, no limiter, no noise reduction, no reverb. The droplets are as they were recorded.

What it is not: not a shed I stood under, not recorded by me. The recording is public domain; this edit is mine. Nothing here is generated or synthesised.
